(English version)

Hmm…?

Our third day at the Studio. We’re starting to get into the recording-groove, we already feel at home and have set everything up the way we like it. We managed to finish the Drum sessions yesterday as far as possible and can now focus on the good life on the Reeperbahn! Except for Samuel, the poor guy has to record his Bass now.

Just kidding, we have a wonderful team and the tension is rising every day, as to where this journey is gonna take us… „We’ve only written the first couple of pages of the book“, as Ken likes to say. Cornered between thousands of snaredrums, bassdrums and cymbals, I could really let go on the first day of recording, get into the groove and just have a good time. I did the drum soundcheck together with Ken and David, our studio engineer. Then it all went really quickly: we listened to the demo tracks we recorded in our rehearsal room, talked about what the drums should sound like and then I could start laying down the foundation for our album . For some of the songs I had Manuel together with me in the recording room, for others it was just the Demo as a guideline or the hammering of the click. So already I am listening to all the drum tracks and how my beautiful Ludwig drum set sounds on a proper recording. So this is it already? That is my contribution to the album? Hmm…? So long dudes Lori // Mañana
